  5. Assassination of Abraham Lincoln-On Good Friday, 14th April 1865 a point-blank shot took away the life of the man who adopted widespread manumission.
  6. The American Indian Wars-The American settlers started claiming more of the native's land during the 1890s.
  7. Birth of Aeronautical engineering-George Cayley followed by the Wright Brothers were the pioneers.
  8. Panama Canal: The beginning-America took 10 years to complete the conduit between Atlantic and Pacific Ocean, 1904-14.
  9. San Francisco earthquake-In 1906, San Francisco was hit by a fatal earthquake followed by 3000 plus casualties.
  10. World war 1-Fought between 1914 and 19 was the most grotesque of wars.
  11. Titanic drowns-The grandiose Titanic failed on its maiden voyage in 1912.
  12. First woman Governor-In 1925 Nellie Tayloe Ross became the first woman governor of Wyoming.
  13. The Great Depression of 1929-The stock market crashed with a 25% fall in employment.
  14. Pearl harbour attack-On 7th December 1941, US Navy was ambushed and attacked by the Empire of Japan at Pearl Harbour.
  15. 1960 Civil Rights Movement-Discarding racial segregation and discrimination of the Black Americans were the motto.
  16. Vietnam War-America was on an anti-communism mission in Vietnam (1955-75).
  17. Independent state of Israel-US recognized the independent state of Israel, 1949.
  18. Beloved President Kennedy-In 1961, John. F. Kennedy was elected the 35th president of the US.
  19. Kennedy assassinated-Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald in a presidential motorcade in 1963.
  20. Martin Luther King Jr. dead-In 1968, the Nobel laureate Luther King Jr. got assassinated in Tennessee.
  21. Moon Walk-Neil Armstrong and Edwin E Aldrin Jr., the first men to walk on moon, in 1969.
  22. King of Rock dead-The iconic Elvis Presley died in 1977 August.
  23. President Ronald Reagan-Reagan was elected the 40th President of the US, he served from 1981-89.
  24. Infamous 9/11- A precogitated attack on the World Trade Centre by Al-Qaeda on September 11, 2001.
  25. Operation Neptune Spear- A secret mission carrying orders to slay Osama Bin Laden was successful in 2011.
